What should be included?
A proper flat-rate quote should state the inventory, addresses, crew size, truck, travel, stairs, elevators, parking, packing needs, heavy items, protection, and delivery timing.
- Labor and truck
- Travel and route
- Furniture protection
- Stairs, elevators, and parking
- Specialty items and exclusions
What can change the price?
The quote can change if inventory increases, access details were missing, packing is unfinished, elevators are unavailable, or specialty items were not disclosed.
How to compare flat-rate quotes
Compare what is included, not just the total price. A lower quote may exclude stairs, fuel, protection, travel time, or delivery conditions.
