Eco-Friendly Packing Options

Traditional cardboard boxes are single-use and often end up in landfill. Our eco-friendly packing options include: reusable plastic moving bins (delivered and picked up by us), recycled and recyclable cardboard boxes when bins aren't suitable, acid-free tissue paper instead of bubble wrap for fragile items, and biodegradable packing peanuts. We also help you dispose of or donate items you're not moving, reducing the total volume and environmental footprint of your move.

Low-Emission Moving in Montreal

Our fleet includes newer low-emission diesel trucks meeting Euro 6 standards, and we're transitioning to hybrid and electric commercial vehicles as they become available in Canada. For local moves, we use route-optimization software to reduce unnecessary kilometres and idle time. Every Up & Out booking comes with a carbon offset contribution — we plant a tree for every completed move in partnership with local Quebec reforestation initiatives.
