Movers in Downtown Vancouver
High-rise condos, rental towers and offices in the downtown core. We plan the elevator, the loading bay and the street before the truck arrives.
Downtown Vancouver moves are mostly about access. Nearly every building has a service elevator to book, a loading bay shared with deliveries, and set hours for moves. Streets are busy with buses, bike lanes and pedestrians, so the truck can't just stop anywhere. We ask for your building's move rules, plan the timing around your elevator booking, and protect hallways, door frames and the elevator cab before anything comes out of your unit.

Moving Tips for Downtown Vancouver
Book your service elevator first. Many downtown buildings only allow moves on set days and hours.
Ask the building manager about the loading bay: its height, how long you can use it, and whether you need to book it separately.
Moving out at the end of the month? Book early. Elevator slots fill quickly around the 1st.
Keep keys, fobs and parking passes for both buildings with you on moving day.
FAQ: Moving in Downtown Vancouver
Yes. Send us the building's move rules and your elevator booking. We'll plan the timing, use the loading bay and protect common areas.
We use your building's loading bay when there is one. If not, we look at street loading options near the entrance before moving day. Tell us what your building has.
We charge by the hour: $140/hr for 2 movers, $180/hr for 3 and $290/hr for 4, plus one hour of travel. There's a 3-hour minimum and GST is extra. Your total depends on how much you're moving, the floors and elevators at both ends, and the distance. The calculator shows your estimate in about 2 minutes, and we go over it with you before moving day.
